Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 16 servings

  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 3 - 4 tablespoons bottled cayenne pepper sauce (Frank's Red Hot®)

  • 1 cup finely chopped cooked chicken

  • ¼ cup finely chopped carrot

  • ¼ cup finely chopped celery

  • cup crumbled blue cheese or shredded cheddar cheese

  • 16 miniature sweet peppers, slit down the side, seeded and deveined (about 10 ounces)

Directions

  1. In a small bowl combine cream cheese and pepper sauce. Stir in chicken, carrot, celery, and cheese. Fill each sweet pepper with a rounded tablespoon of the filling. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake in a 425°F oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until heated through.
